  • This is why we love Aisha Tyler, a lady with words for an angry mob

Aisha Tyler (Archer, Friends and so much more) was nice enough to agree to host the Ubisoft presentation at this year’s E3 2012 press-event. Even though she brought some much needed stage-presence to E3, it seems not everyone was happy she was there.

Aisha Tyler posted a very lengthy reply to the people that feel she isn’t part of the “gaming community”; which we hope while your reading this sounds just as stupid as it was to type it. The reply wasn’t about her performance, or about her ability to host the event, instead she had to defend the fact that she plays games at all.

I’m not going to go into details about whatever it is someone has to do to be accepted into a “gaming community” (last time I write that ever, I promise) but one would think after lending her voice to ‘Gears of War: 3′ as well as being part of the ‘Halo’ series, people would appreciate the fact that she deems the genre respectable and continues to agree to promote gaming and be apart of it.

If you really need something to complain about, I would start questioning the actual people IN the gaming industry that thought a 4 minute dance number from Usher was a good idea. Those are people we should be mad at, we could have watched four more minutes of ‘Tomb Raider’.

You can read Aisha’s response to the nonsensical ramblings of internet people on her Facebook page below.

@GamingExaminer the gaming community can be so amazing and supportive yet at times we’re no better than the COD bros we often mock. >:|
