Legacy Perks are a fun segment of Bioware’s hit MMO ‘Star Wars: The Old Republic’. These customizable perks allow you to make specific changes to your character. You can read about the new Legacy Perks contained in update 1.3 below.
As stated by Bioware, the perks come in four main categories; Advancement, Travel, Companion and Convenience. You gain experience to unlock these perks by completing Flashpoints or Space Missions. These are special traits, abilities or unlocks that you can obtain during leveling or even once you’ve reached level 50. Bioware does make it a point to say that although “Global Unlocks can be earned through normal play or can alternately be purchased for credits, Character Perks can only be purchased using in-game credits”.
Travel Perks: The Travel Perks introduced with Game Update 1.3 will help new and old characters alike get around the galaxy a little easier.
Companion Perks: Companion Perks modify the way that you interact with your companions, as well as making them more useful to you at both low and high levels.
Convenience Perks: These perks just make everything easier it seems, from Field Repair Droid perk to mail droid perk, you are never far from what you need.
