Sony has some very good news for anime fans, Sony just announced at San Diego Comic Con that the company will be brining Neon Alley and Crunchy Roll to the PSN network.
Neon Alley, a 24-hour anime channel, will hit the PSN this fall. The channel is subscription based and priced at $6.99 per month (U.S. and Canada). Neon Alley will include “a mix of action, adventure, science fiction, supernatural, fantasy, and horror anime, all uncut and dubbed in English, and presented in HD (when available)” according to post on the Playstation Blog. This includes such anime series as; Naruto Shippuden, Inuyasha: The Final Act, and Death Note, Tiger & Bunny, Berserk: The Golden Age Arc, Zetman, and Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan.
Not to be forgotten, the ‘Crunchyroll App’ will also be coming to PSN available on your PS3. Sony has stated that if you are a current subscriber, you will be able to log in with your existing account. Viewers will be offered a 30-day free trial directly from your PS3. Sony states the trail will offer “Anime membership” which is all the anime titles and simulcasts for $6.95 per month, Drama membership (all drama titles and simulcasts for $6.95 per month), or All-Access membership (all titles and simulcasts for $11.95 per month).
