Sony is well aware that some PS3 players are being continually kicked from PSN during online gaming. The company is working on fixing the issue as soon as possible. 
 
Players that are experiencing the issues are getting suddenly kicked from PSN, given an error code and forced to log back in. The sudden drops can happen at any moment, and usually occur a few minutes to an hour after you begin playing.
 
Sony had this to say on the Playstation Support Twitter handle:

We’re aware that some users are having issues connecting to the network. We are looking into it and will keep you updated.
