  • Skyrim Kinect Support To Be Available The Last Week Of April

Looks like us armchair Dragonborns won’t have to wait much longer to shout at our TVs. Kinect support for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be rolling out the week of April 23rd.

Not only that, but Pete Hines, vice president of marketing at Bethesda mentioned that the update will also support French, Italian, German and Spanish.

Kinect support will feature more than 200 voice commands, including Dragon Shouts, Hotkey Equipping, Follower Commands, and all Menus. Says Hines: “[Totally replacing the handheld controller] would be a whole other can of worms. Doing combat and swinging your sword and all that stuff without a controller would dramatically change the game. We’re trying to enhance the experience as we designed it with some additional functionality.”
