Even though Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 are technically Nintendo DS titles, they will be “playable” on the Nintendo 3DS.
To do this Nintendo has constructed two applications that will work with Pokemon Black and White 2. The first application is an ‘augmented reality’ or (AR) title, perfect for catching Pokemon in your “real world” surroundings (shown on the right). The second application will increase and update your Pokedex.
