Nintendo is getting everyone in the Mario-spirit, celebrating the last few weeks before the launch of ‘New Super Mario Bros. 2′ with discounts on previous Mario titles on the Nintendo eShop.
The promotion will run throughout August and covers four Mario titles.
- July 26 – Aug. 1 (Super Mario Bros. $3.99)
- Aug. 2 – Aug. 8 ( Super Mario Land $2.99)
- Aug. 9 – Aug. 15 (Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins $2.99)
- Aug. 16 – Aug. 22 (Mario’s Picross $2.99)
All of this in preparation for the ‘New Super Mario Bros. 2′ release on August 19, 2012. Also launching that day is the ‘Nintendo 3DS XL’ hand-held from Nintendo. Both the game and the new, larger handheld device will be available on August 19, 2024 and are available for pre-order from most major retailers.
