Fans that are playing the MMOFPS ‘Planet Side 2′ will be instructed to download a new update when they log into the title. Here are the details.
Sony Online Entertainment confirmed the details of the patch on February 2, 2013. According to a press-release sent out form Sony earlier this morning starting today “PlanetSide 2, received a consignment of updates, including improvements to infantry, vehicles, UI, experience, facilities, audio and items”.
This marks the second ‘live update’ since the popular game launched. Sony also stated that this is “only the start of bigger and better things planned for addition to the game this year”. More changes to the game are expected at a later date as the development team has been “actively listening to community feedback” and aiming to “tackle the biggest issues they have seen and been notified about thus far”.
