The Mass Effect 3 ‘Extended Cut’ DLC endings have officially come out and fans of the series are once again trying to save Earth from the Reapers. Though that will not be the last opportunity to play as Commander Shepard it seems. Some new information promises more DLC in the future, and some may be leaked already.
Mike Gamble, the game producer, continued teasing the Bioware community by Tweeting “Would now be a good time to talk about how we’re doing more DLC in the future?”. Adding later, “That was a trick question. We’ll save the future DLC for future chats. Don’t worry though … there’s much more”.
That was enough to cause some gamers to scurry about the internet and coding of the latest Mass Effect 3 endings to find more information. One player in particular was able to find some information that points to a DLC pack for the single-player campaign called ‘Leviathan’.
According to the decoded script, Leviathan is a Rogue Reaper. This Reaper betrays its brethren and defects from the Reaper invasion. Once again Shepard is sent to rescue a doctor by the name of Ann Bryson. She is located within the bowels of a mining colony that is currently controlled by the Leviathan Reaper. If you play your cards right, you can add this Reaper to your list of war assets to defend Earth. Bioware has not commented on the findings.
