News has been scarce about which titles will be coming to the Wii U, when it releases sometime in 2012. Peter Moore of EA has come out and restated the importance the Wii U will have in the company’s future. He also spoke about the system itself, and had glowing praise for the innovation.
“There are no indications that there’s anything that feels like it’s off target.â€
“No one thinks it’s going to replace an iPad 2 but it is playing into what a consumer feels comfortable with,“ explained Moore.
“Our teams are working on it around the world. Our key franchises will be there. We’ve made that commitment to Nintendo.â€
Nintendo has kept quiet about unveiling any additional news on the Wii U since unveiling the console at this year’s E3. We still don’t know what’s inside the console from a spec stand point. Hopefully Nintendo will be able to offer something to recapture the hard core fan base.
