Diablo III servers go down for maintenance
Blizzard has warned would-be players of Diablo III that the servers for the game will be offline starting at 6pm EDT this morning. Here are the details of the maintenance.
The timeframe will be from 6am (EDT) to about 4pm (EDT) this afternoon, so you have about 5hrs of waiting at the time we posted this news. Of course it could end early, which is doubtful, or take longer than expected. The maintenance is to prepare the servers for the upcoming 1.0.3 patch that is due out soon.
The news came via the official Battle.net blog which states the timeframe for each region:
The Americas: 3:00 a.m. PDT (6/19) to 1:00 p.m. PDT (6/19)
Europe: 6:00 p.m. PDT (6/19) to 4:00 a.m. PDT (6/20)
Asia: 1:00 p.m. PDT (6/20) to 11:00 p.m. PDT (6/20)
