After some much needed downtime, the Diablo III servers are back in North and South America, European and Asian servers have not been updated as of this time.
The new update 1.0.3 is now live and it comes with many, many changes and updates. The servers were expected to be back at 4pm EDT but came on earlier than expected. You will be instructed to download the patch when you log into the server.
Some of the major changes are adjustments to the “high-level” item drops, and a dramatic change in the crafting and Artisan training realm. For those of you that have unlocked the infamous “Inferno” difficulty setting, Acts 2 and 3 have been adjusted to be more like Act 1. It will cost more for players to repair their broken-down gear at level 60.
The auction-house is still offline at the moment but is expected to return. Normally we would list the patch in all it’s glory right here, but since it is such a large update, we will send you to the official Battle.net page for the listing.
