Last week CD Projekt RED released the debut trailer for ‘Cyberpunk 2077′ and hidden inside that trailer was a promise of a very big project that will be announced soon.
Of course the title that immediately jumped to everyone’s mind was the next installment of the popular Witcher series ‘The Witcher 3′. Although the title has yet to be announced, fans have been lighting-up the community forums with ideas and suggestions along with high hopes for the next game.
Now the developers have posted a new image (shown above). The sword has the traditional wolf head on the hilt which fans know is the traditional symbol of Geralt, the lead protagonist in the series. The developers left this teaser with the picture:
It’s been a while since you’ve heard about the REDkit beta. Well, the beta program is still in full effect with participants sending us loads of awesome content every day. We would like to share it with you on the go, but you’re going to have to wait a little longer to see the outcomes of their work. It shouldn’t be too long however, so stay tuned for more info. Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook and Twitter for official announcements as well. Oh, and if you are wondering what’s that in that picture above – well, we’ll leave it for your imagination to answer.
Though the general consensus is that the picture is a hint for ‘The Witcher 3′ with fans even counting the wolf heads, debating if there are three or four in total, some say that it may be part of a new Collector’s Edition or bundled edition. Bundle editions before the launch of the third installment are very popular with publishers, the latest game to offer one is ‘Bioshock’ as it prepares to launch ‘Bioshock: Infinite’.
You are free to make up your own mind, though no matter what it is still a pretty great sword.
