Mass Effect 3 is poised to make it’s Wii U debut this holiday season and although the Wii U still doesn’t have a launch date, players will get to use the ‘Extended Cut’ DLC on the system.
The news came via an interview with Mass Effect producer Michael Gamble, who told Siliconera “The extended ending is basically going to be part of the game instead; you won’t have to download it”.
There will be more DLC that will launch before the game is released on Wii U, the recently announced ‘Earth’ DLC is set to release today and there is no word if Wii U players will be able to download the DLC.
Although there is no official word from Bioware, it would seem unlikely that the Wii U will start skipping DLC since the ‘extended cut’ is already being integrated onto the disc.
