The next DLC pack for Battlefield 3 named ‘Close Quarters’ is set to release on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 this June. EA has released a new trailer showing off some of the content that you can expect to dive into.
In a press release sent out earlier today from EA, the publisher highlights that “everything from furniture to plaster can be shot to pieces, and players can see the result of the mayhem as rubble and broken pieces pile up on the floor. The tight level design and many opportunities for vertical gameplay create a highly competitive environment”.
Battlefield 3: Close Quarters key features
Get plunged into frantic and relentless infantry combat on 4 new maps
HD Destruction lets you reduce entire locales to ruin
Complete 10 new Assignments and equip 5 unique dog tags
Earn 10 new weapons and bring them back to the base game including:
The DLC pack will cost $14.99, and will release in June 2012 (1 week early access on PS3)
The DLC also has the modified/new game mode (shown in the vid sort of) Conquest Domination. Which I hope plays just like Domination in CoD. Though I haven’t looked into the full rules. Some people were saying you have to hold all the flags to get points but that would just make for really long games I would think.
