As we approach E3 2012, it appears that the details obtained from leaked scans for a new Assassin’s Creed PS Vita game are coming true. The new female protagonist appears to be of Creole decent, with a New Orleans and Mexican setting.
The first leaked images come from Game Informer’s magazine and were posted by a user on NeoGaf. The images and details point to a the female lead (on the right) and put a launch date for the PS Vita title alongside ‘Assassin’s Creed III’. That title is set to debut this October 2012.
The character’s name is Aveline, a French/German name that would fit with the Creole bloodlines. This title will also be developed by Ubisoft, if the findings from NeoGaf are true.
Ubisoft has not made any official statements at this time, there really isn’t any need to, their E3 press conference is just days away at this point. You can expect to hear more about the game, as well as see a teaser trailer or some gameplay video, over the next few days.
