Respawn Entertainment To No-Show At Gamescom
The gaming world has been holding its breath, waiting for more details on Respawn Entertainment’s mysterious new sci-fi shooter, but so far, details have been scarce. Hopes were high that the game would make an appearance at this year’s Gamescom, but it now appears that we’ll all have to wait a bit longer for any further details.
Call of Duty creators Jason West and Vince Zampella, formerly of Infinity Ward, created Respawn Entertainment and have been working on a sci-fi shooter meant to compete with the likes of Halo and Gears of War.
When asked via Twitter if they would be making an appearance at the upcoming Gamescom, the studio responded, “No, no plans to attend so far.”
The “so far” would be the one silver lining, as it implies that the decision could possibly change in the near future. So for now, this is what we get:
