It’s hard to believe that it has been 25 years since the inception of the Madden NFL series. Twenty…five…years! The series is older than many people that I know.
For Madden’s Silver Anniversary, it seems that EA is planning something special. For starters, the 2014 iteration will be referred to as Madden NFL 25 as opposed to the expected Madden NFL 14. The game is scheduled to release on August 27th, 2013. To celebrate the announcement, EA Sports and ESPN have announced a new Cover Vote starting March 11th on ESPN.com that will include today’s top stars in addition to legends.
Fans can tune into a special edition of SportsNation at 6:00pm EST on ESPN2 on Monday, March 11 for the live unveil of the Madden NFL Cover Vote brackets.
