The group that published the expected system information on the Microsoft Xbox 360 successor has now published information regarding the next Playstation or PS4. Here are the details on the report.
The first ‘leaked’ information was for the next Xbox (named the Xbox 720 by the community) but codenamed Durango at Microsoft. Sony has a similar codename for the next PS3 (named PS4 by the community) under project Orbis at Sony. Of course none of these reports are confirmed by either Microsoft or Sony, it is hard to judge the validity of the reports since neither company would go on records regarding rummors or secretive projects.
A single ‘PS4′ would contain a 500GB hard drive, and a custom made AMD APU. The site is also reporting that there will only be one SKU at launch, which would seem unlikely as a smaller version could come in at a lower price-point to entice customers on the fence.
You can check out all the specs that the site is claiming below.
