Although PS3 users were the first to get ‘Amazon Instant’, the video rental and streaming service offered through Amazon, Xbox 360 and Microsoft have evened things out for everyone. The service starts on Xbox 360 today.
The app is now downloadable through the Xbox Live “Video Apps Marketplace”. If you are an Amazon Prime member you can stream over “17,000″ Prime videos, though both Prime and non-Prime are allowed to rent shows and movies.
Little known fact, the last time we checked, Amazon lets you try Amazon.Prime for a year free if you have an @edu.com email through Amazon.Student, it doesn’t even auto-renew if you don’t want it too. For all the information on Amazon.Prime you can check out the official page below.
