One of Valve’s most popular series launched in 1998 and it was called ‘Half-Life’. It was an instant success and although future titles became available on the Mac system, the original was forgotten, until today.
Now Valve has un-officially launched a Mac version of the title on the STEAM digital distribution site that we all love. Of course Valve can’t mention, alter or even remotely hint about the Half-Life series without the gaming world getting all excited for a ‘Half-Life 3′ announcement. We can’t blame them though, it will be a terrific day if it ever happens.
Even though the game shows as windows only, an editor on ‘cultofmac‘ states, “I’ve verified that if you buy it, it will install and run on a modern Mac”. Odd indeed.
