Dishonored on PC won’t share the same UI as console versions
It’s common knowledge that although some user-interfaces (UIs) may work great on consoles, they don’t always translate well to PC and vice-versa. That is probably why PC gamers are so happy to hear that the two platforms will be getting separate interfaces for Bethesda’s upcoming dark action-title ‘Dishonored’.
Arkane Studios designer, Raphael Colantonio, recently answered a few questions for PC Gamer where he talked about the two platforms. Colantonio stated, “And now in this game we have a mix of strong console players and fans, and also hardcore PC people. So both sides are very influential, and in the end, yes, the PC has its own different interface”.
The designer didn’t go into details on how the two interfaces will be different but it is nice to know there will be changes made for the two main platforms (console and PC). You can expect to hear more about Bethesda’s ‘Dishonored’ as we get closer to its 2013 launch date.
