  • Xbox 360 leaps into sports programming this year with NBA, ESPN and NHL

     

    Microsoft is revamping the media-entertainment possibilities for Xbox 360 owners. Adding a a host of Sports options along with an improved ESPN app. You can get the media breakdown below with all the new updates. 

     

    Some of the biggest news with the Xbox 360 comes with its new sports programming. Microsoft will add the ability to watch live games from the NBA and the NHL, and will be adding that to the MLB and NFL that they already offer. Allowing “split-screen” action from different games, it will also add Kinect technology to allow you to change in between them.

     

    ESPN will also be coming to Xbox Live in a new form, the ESPAN app will include 24-hour programming from some of the biggest shows available including ESPN 1, ESPN 2, and ESPN U.

    ESPN’s app will be updated to include 24-hour programming from other ESPN channels: ESPN 1, ESPN 2, and ESPN U. Currently, the ESPN app on Xbox 360 only features content from ESPN 3.
