It really should have happened a long time ago when you think about it, watching the big Microsoft E3 keynote address from your Xbox 360. Now you can thanks to Spike TV and Microsoft.
This year marks the first time the presentation will be streamed for Xbox 360 users. Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb, the Xbox Live director of programming, made the announcement earlier today. The broadcast will also be available on Spike TV and should last about an hour and a half.
It is being marketed as “Xbox: Entertainment Evolved” and it isn’t exactly new to the industry. Sony has streamed live from E3 through their social-networking platform ‘Home’ on the PS3 in the past.
You can mark your calendar now, it will go live on Monday, June 4th at 12:30p eastern.
