Evan Wells, Co-President of Naughty Dog, posted a new image on Twitter this afternoon showing off what appears to be a character model of “the infected”.
The picture, shown on the right, shows what appears to be the last stage of the infection that wiped out humanity in the game. If it is not the last stage we can assume it must very close to it.
‘The Last of Us’ takes place after a fungal outbreak infects most of the population and tears down human society. The game is scheduled to be released on PS3 sometime this fall.
