The struggling Japanese video games industry is finally seeing some rays of hope, as sales information compiled by Enterbrain show the first signs of growth in 2 years.
Total hardware and software revenue for the first half of 2012 was reported to be 193.4 billion yen, a 0.7% increase from 192 billion yen from the first half of 2011.
It seems that the Nintendo 3ds and PS Vita are mostly responsible for the recent boost, as 2.2 million units of the 3ds and 350,000 units of the Vita were moved in the time frame. Check out the list of the top hardware and software sales below!
