Amazon introduces ‘GameCircle’ in a new video designed for indie-developers
Amazon is adding a new tool to help indie-games get from concept to controller. The online retail-giant has just announced GameCircle and it’s something you might want to check out. You can watch the introductory video below.
The company already has grown into ‘Amazon Web Services’ allowing cloud-based network servers, CDN’s and more. Then Amazon introduced “In App” purchasing for it’s clients. This service is geared directly to gamers that already have Kindle Fire or Amazon accounts, which we don’t have to tell you is an incredibly large group of people.
GameCircle will allow achievements by way of badges and leader-boards so you can track your progress against other players. Remember all that cloud-computing we mentioned earlier? Well GameCirlce will use that as well, allowing you to switch between devices or restore lost data.
